SUMATHY (A) THAMIZHACHI THANGAPANDIAN: Will the Minister of TEXTILES be pleased to sate: (a) the number of notified textile products / fibers including technical products produced in the country as on date; (b) the details regarding adequacy of Research and Development facilities available in the country in Textile sector for bringing out new products; (c) the details of indigenously discovered, produced and successfully marketed new fibres during the last ten years, if any; and (d) whether the Government is in the process of holding bilateral discussions with other countries for the development / introduction of new technical products in textile sector, if so, the details thereof?
