Will the Minister of HOME AFFAIRS be pleased to state:
(a) whether the Government has cancelled the Foreign Contribution
Regulation Act (FCRA) registration of various NGOs particularly run by
Minority institutions and individuals from minority communities in Tamil
Nadu during the last two years;
(b) if so, the details thereof and if not the reasons therefor;
(c) whether there is an inordinate delay in the process of registration of
FCRA by NGOs from Tamil Nadu, if so, the details thereof and the list of
NGOs already granted FCRA registration and those which are pending; and
(d) the effective measures taken by the Government to expedite the process
of FCRA registration by various NGOs from Tamil Nadu?
