974. DR. T. SUMATHY (a) THAMIZHACHI THANGAPANDIAN:

Will the Minister of EDUCATION be pleased to state:

(a) whether some State Governments have objected to certain reforms proposed in the New
Education Policy and to reconsider the implementation of NEP;
(b) if so, the details thereof and reaction of the Government thereon;
(c) whether the Government has received any request from the State Government of Tamil Nadu
to implement the two language policy in the State; and
(d) if so, the details thereof and the Government’s stand in this regard?
