Will the Minister of SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY be pleased to state:

(a) the details of the current status of the draft National Geospatial Policy 2021;

(b) the nature of support being provided to the private sector for the promotion of India’s space sector by the Government;

(c) the total number of private companies engaged with ISRO to use the Government facilities for R&D and testing;

(d) the details of the authority under which the ‘Guidelines for Acquiring and Producing Geospatial Data and Geospatial Data Services including Maps’ have been issued; and

(e) the details of the safeguards the Government has put in place to prevent possible satellite surveillance as a consequence of liberalizing access to geospatial data to internationally headquartered mapping agencies?
