2466. DR. T. SUMATHY (a) THAMIZHACHI THANGAPANDIAN:
Will the Minister of ENVIRONMENT, FOREST AND CLIMATE CHANGE be pleased to
state:
(a) the details of the 17 categories of highly polluting industries inspected by Central
Pollution Control Board (CPCB) in financial year 2021-22, State/UT-wise;
(b) the details of the total number of industries out of above industries found non-compliant,
number of industries that complied with CPCB directions, and number of industries for
which CPCB directions are still in force for the financial year 2021-22, State/UT-wise;
(c) the compliance status, especially with regards to Air Pollution, of the aforementioned 17
categories of highly polluting industries as on June 2022, State/UT-wise;
(d) the compliance status of Gross Polluting Industries (GPI) as on June 2022, State/UTwise;
(e) the number of complaints received and actions taken against non-compliance of CPCB
Guidelines, State/ UT-wise; and
(f) the details of complaints received and actions taken against non-compliance of CPCB
Guidelines for Non-Attainment cities?
