Will the Minister of POWER be pleased to state:
(a) the details of measures taken by the Union Government to support the Tamil Nadu
Government’s initiative to supply subsidised power to poor and marginal
consumers as the State has already achieved hundred percent village electrification level;
(b) the quantum of funds allocated by the Union Government for the joint initiative called ‘Power
for All’ with the State Government of Tamil Nadu;
(c) the details of achievement rate of the Union Government for providing support to the
Government of Tamil Nadu for enhancing power supply infrastructure
and making 24X7 reliable and quality power;
(d) whether the Union Government has extended any financial assistance to TANGEDCO; and
(e) if so, the details thereof?
