Will the Minister of JAL SHAKTI be pleased to state:

(a) whether the Union Government has received any proposal from the Governments of Maharashtra and Tamil
Nadu under the rivers restoration projects to restore the river systems and water bodies, if so, then details thereof;
(b) the details of the list of projects given approval or to be approved and the funds earmarked/allocated for the same,
especially in Chennai;
(c) whether the Government has any plans to introduce state of the art technology in carrying out rivers cleaning and
de-siliting process on its own or with Public-Private Partnership (PPP) mode or in collaboration with foreign
countries; and
(d) if so, the details thereof and the list of those projects approved and carried out during the last three years, year
and State-wise
