Thank you very much, hon. Speaker, Sir. As has been rightly pointed out by the Union Minister that there should be consensus with the State Governments. I would like to draw to your kind attention to the Prohibition of Online Gambling and Regulation of Online Games Bill, 2022 passed by the Tamil Nadu Government and which stays with the present Governor, hon. Thiru R.N. Ravi awaiting assent. Over 40 youths have died so far in Tamil Nadu since the gaming ban Bill was passed in the assembly but waiting for the assent. My question is, how does the Government propose to ensure that the Bill actually ends up seeing the light of the day? That is also the intent to ensure that
other States also bring up their own legislation until the common legislation is brought forth by the Union Government. Thank you.
