2030. DR. T. SUMATHY (A) THAMIZHACHI THANGAPANDIAN:

Will the Minister of SKILL DEVELOPMENT AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP be pleased to state:

(a) whether the Government has proposed to skill lakhs of youth covering new age courses for Industry 4.0 like coding, AI, robotics, mechatronics, IOT, 3D printing, drones, soft skills, Cloud Computing, Gaming, digital Designing, data services, SFX and EFX, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning;

(b) if so, whether the Government has proposed to launch Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana 4.0 in the country, if so the detail thereof alongwith the measure taken to provide Skill
Training in ITIs and PMKVY Training Centres;

(c) whether the Government has proposed to set up 30 Skill India International Centres across different States to skill youth for international opportunities, if so the detail thereof;

(d) whether the Government has proposed to launch a unified Skill India Digital platform for enabling demand-based formal skilling, linking with employers including MSMEs, and facilitating access to entrepreneurship schemes;

(e) if so the detail thereof and progress made including the earlier schemes under PMKVY since their launch, year-wise alongwith the details of funds sanctioned/ spent for the said
purpose;

(f) total number of students provided skill training in the last 8 years, year/ State-wise and the steps taken by the Government to impart skill training to two Million students every year?
