Will the Minister of RURAL DEVELOPMENT be pleased to state:
(a) whether the Government has sanctioned any special funds for the Districts in Tamil
Nadu to mitigate and solve the important local needs of the people and if so, the
details thereof;
(b) whether the Government has provided funds for implementing Rural Development
Schemes especially the Rural Livelihood scheme and if so, the details thereof;
(c) the steps taken by the Government to increase the total number of working days from
100 to 150 days per year under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment
Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS); and
(d) the total funds allocated, disbursed to Tamil Nadu during the last eight years under
MGNREGS?
