Will the PRIME MINISTER be pleased to state:
(a) the time by which the Government plans to construct an Away From Reactor (ARF) facility for spent nuclear fuel in Kudankulam;
(b) whether it is a fact that the facility was originally slated to be completed by April 2022;
(c) if so, the reasons for the delay in construction of this facility;
(d) whether it is a fact that the reactor has been shut down in the past due to minor hazards and if so, the details of these incidents; and
(e) whether any study has been undertaken to understand the potential negative impact of spent nuclear fuel on the surroundings in the absence of an ARF and if so, the details thereof?
