Will the Minister of HEALTH AND FAMILYWELFARE be pleased to state:
(a) whether it is mandatory for the companies to provide all details regarding the ingredients and calorific value on the food labels to trace its nutritional elements;
(b) if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons for the delay;
(c) whether the Government is planning to issue Health Star Rating (HSR) for the canned/packaged foods and other food products;
(d) if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor; and
(e) whether the Government has any data on the total number of tinned/canned food products and packaged food items provided certification by FSSAI and if so, the details thereof?
